This is from the perspective that this is *not* a project cars game.
- The arcade aspects are fun at first, however it gets old incredibly quick. I like the idea of the braking zone icon being visible at a greater distance, however unlike project cars 2, the icon remains constant, despite the speed.
- after 10+ hours, the career mode just feels clunky and poorly thought out. you ALWAYS start in 10th place, and to get the most xp you need to get into first place. This is compounded by incredibly short races, so you need to bring out your inner most cheesy driving techniques.
The career mode feels unpolished.
- online, it's pretty quick to find a competitive race, however the races are again too short, no qualifying or practice and you often bounce between car classes.
- tracks, there are some great tracks in this game, some that really can feel intense. This is one of the positive aspects from the game being more of a simcade.
- handling/physics, lol even with all of the assists turned off, it still feels like the all powerful super tires can keep finding grip, even when none exists.
- performance, awful. I have a high end rig, and this game runs as poorly as ACC in vr.
It's a kind of a fun game, not worth the $60, wait for a sale, don't take the game seriously, because it's not a real sim.
