Decent show about a group of kids that travel into a virtual world to fight and prevent an evil program called Xana from escaping into the real world. Their primary goal is to save a girl they meet in the virtual world by repairing missing code that prevents her from rematerializing in the real world. Episodes are rather formulaic, almost every one starts with Xana taking control of some machine, or in some cases even living things, to cause havoc in the real world, which the kids respond to by entering the virtual world to shut down whatever terminal Xana used to escape, and then inexplicably travel back in time to before the inciting event occurred. This formula makes up the entire first season, and none of this is explained until much much later in the series, I recommend skipping most of it. The show gets much more engaging in the last couple episodes of the first season, it gets good in the second season, when it gains an actual plot, raises the stakes, and dives into the origin and purpose of the supercomputer and Xana. It's not amazing, but you may find yourself caring about the characters and their mission once the action ramps up.
