This series reminds me of the old mini series that would grab you..Thornbirds,Roots,etc..that would not let you go! I love that feeling. Every aspect of this show is magic-the small town warmth,the actors and characters,the storyline, the scenery and of course Jack and Mel!!

I agree with previous reviews that the beginning episodes were confusing in developing relationships and plots..However it is now developing and I love it..Really enjoy the characters and filming in Memphis with it's raw southern charm
