This has become one of my favorite Christmas movies. An intriguing story speculating on how Dickens may have been inspired to write "A Christmas Carol" (I wasn't aware that Dickens was forced to work at a workhouse as a child). There are elements of both drama and humor in the film. Definitely on my list to watch every December!
