It notifies that snape was not fully responsible for becoming so rude towards potter. He was clearly forced to do so. And in the Harry Potter series, we see that he was caring, though secretly, towards potter. But still, he was more caring than Dumbledore, as I understand.

This was my partner in my whole 7 year old journey. I used to watch this all the day ( usually, if they showed me all the day). But now, on the TV, I don't find this show anywhere. I'm pretty sad about it, but you know, some things don't last forever.
