I LOVE the originl Sex and the City series, but the new series is falling very short. I miss the humor and the lightheartness of the original series. I miss the levity that Samantha brought. The new series is more somber and dark.I understand that they tried to create a more diverse cast and adress contemporary issues, but it is overkill and feels forced. They could have woven those topics and chatacters into the story line in way that felt organic and natural. Instead they ram it down the audience's throat. Im disappointed, but as a loyal fan I will keep watching and hope it gets better.
