Overrated with exaggerated ott characters.. Ranvir does what he has to do high energy ugly pure evil. Shahid portrays the valour & insipid character of the king- he doesn't have much in terms of characterisation to showcase his acting skills. Deepika has to look beautiful & virtuous - the 1st part she manages, the second is jarring. Throw out your thoughts & expectations of any realism & acting skills & then you can enjoy what the movie has to offer--a visual treat like a glossy gift wrap. Each character is literally one dimensional-- evil's mannerisms to dress is stereotypical evil ott. On the other side are the virtuous - all beauty, valour & so called royal finesse. If there is any flaw in their character then it's not obvious. They are literally portrayed as perfection personified. In terms of portrayal & acting I personally enjoyed Trapped more despite its plot flaws
