I love Animal Crossing. Great game, super cute, but Nintendo made some serious flubs with New Horizons.
1) Game mechanics are wonky. Not sure if it is the Switch itself that is at fault, or the game. For example: I can be standing directly facing a door, press "A" to enter, but I swing my net instead of opening the door.
2) Harv's island is hands down the most useless feature ever put in a game. An island where the only thing you can do is take pictures? Seriously? Super lame.
3) You have to pay for a Nintendo account to be able to access online features. Nice try, but not happening. I already paid $50 for the game, I'm not shelling out more cash for something I am not going to use often enough to make it worth it.
4) You can no longer rid yourself of fake artwork, unless you send it as a present to a town resident.
5) Storage is inadequate. There needs to be a seperate storage facility for the items needed for crafting.
6) The game forces you to accept the first camper as a new resident. My first camper is a frog. I already have a toad resident. I would rather have another type of creature, but from what I have read, their is no way to get rid of him simply because he is the first camper.
