When I originally began looking at the show, I was, as others have said, impressed with seeing successful African American couples implementing plans to uplift the under-served communities of their city. ....and then, the pettiness crept in.... I don't know if this is real or just 'reality tv', but I certainly hope that the behavior of Melody and Martel is just for the
benefit of the show because surely a professional African American woman and her husband don't have to behave in this manner to elevate themselves. Return to the original premise!!!!
