The WORST movie experience I've had in my life. It tries to make a statement about how the animal kingdom can be horrible & cruel and "this is how it might look if humans acted the same way", and it does a REALLY BAD job! This movie is dark, cruel, sadistic, and cynical. The good acting & cinematography cannot make up for the awful feel & storyline of this "film". I say this seriously without hyperbole...if you suffer from depression, DO NOT watch this movie. It is so awful to watch (SPOILER ALERT...a young couple is kidnapped and locked into an empty suburban neighborhood and then given a child that constantly screams and slowly tortures them into misery, insanity, and death), that it will actually leave you numb after watching this. No happy ending here either. Yet another UK film that gets into nihilism and over the top viciousness & cruelty and then tries to fob it off as "art". No thank you.
