I feel like the story is an allegory for the concept of reincarnation, as in, the cycle of a life. Choosing to come to earth, be born, to live in the world and live a life, to then ultimately go back where we came from. The message I get in this film is that no matter how beautiful and perfect otherworld we came from (the moon, or heaven or the other side) when our life is all over, we will never forget our life on earth. We would choose to come back to do it over again.The ending is just haunting to me, I loved this movie so much . My young daughter and elderly parents loved this movie, it’s for everyone .
