Touching, inspiring and an uplifting Christmas movie.

The entire package of script, direction and music are as near perfection as a movie can get. Being born, reared and now retired in the south, I can attest to the authenticity of historical situations, small town depiction and the tentative nature to stand up for freedom from the ever present threats. The humour comes through as innate and not just scripted. I recommend as highly as possible (for someone who isn’t in ‘the biz’) that anyone over the age of ten watch this film with an eye toward discussion at the conclusion . Be alert to the interplay of direction, dialogue and action , music and individual character development. You will be entertained, educated and all the better for the experience.
