The BBC (sensibly) broadcast episodes 1 &2 on the same evening - if this hadn’t been the case I doubt I’d have watched the 2nd and subsequent episodes. Episode 1 was faintly ridiculous and not at all captivating, but it improved dramatically(!) from episodes 2 & 3 onward. Really enjoyed the series. Great cast, some predictable, but amusing scenes - I loved the Wild West saloon scene - also faintly ridiculous, but by then I was in the zone.
Good escapist viewing.
