While the film making in itself has remained unbiased and presented facts as is, it is amply clear that the investigation was compromised by sexist and biased investigators. Why was the lead investigator so focused on the fact that she was an attractive woman who in his opinion could have wooed anyone she wanted. Unwarranted opinions about Amanda's morality and stereotyping her character must have impacted her life so deeply where as in the meantime investigators and journalists made their irresponsible assumptions and got on with their lives.
