Unexpectedly enjoyable! The two main characters have got what it takes for an on-screen partnership to work - there is that chemistry. A feisty, intelligent lady detective against a formidable, roaring Chief Inspector who is forever infuriated by her shenanigans. Moses is intimidating while Rupert Parker and Ivy are the sweet, gentle souls. And there’s Henry Scarlet, the voice of reason albeit ghost-like. There’s wit and humour too, which made me chuckle a few times. Definitely worth watching. Especially if you appreciate Victorian England. And doesn’t the Duke cut a dapper figure in those well-tailored suits?
