This is one of those movies that is so bad you want to read the book. Terrible execution amazing idea. The movie is super slowly paced, the writing is bad. At multiple times I thought this must’ve been written by an elderly man. One of the babysitters is flirting with Kelly and Liz says “pump the brakes, Casanova” she’s like 15 in the year 2020 what kid calls someone a Casanova?? Definitely needed more action shots, it felt like they were just trying to fill time with slow boring establishing shots and modern music, which never really fits the scene it’s used in. I feel bad for the writer of the book cuz this was just disappointing. Anyway don’t bother with this movie, it sets itself up for a sequel that never came. If you find the idea interesting read the books instead.

I’m only on episode 6 but this show throws you for a loop in terms of what you think is going to happen. You think there’s some supernatural force NO things get solved like a normal crime but there’s that build in the background like you know there’s some type of spooky thing happening also like I said I’m only on episode six but as far as I can tell there’s no sex scenes! I personally think sex scenes in movies and tv are very awkward and the scenes are always implied to have happened or just talked about which is such a nice change of pace.
