It's indian storytelling at its peak. What i loved about the series was its originality and how writers have been able to skillfully adapt vikram chandra's novel into the series. What is commendible is that it is a pure desi indian story with complex characters. City of mumbai plays a huge role and the way this series showcases indian mythology, history and culture in a different but amazing light. The mvp for me is Nawazuddin siddique and kubra sait. Their performance on screen is certainly the best part of this entire series. I genuinely think that nawaz should be commended for his performance as his character is the most gripping, compelling and best in the series. On the other end Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte also give a great performance. It was refreshing to see Saif in a character which is so troubled but honest. If you have watched netflix shows before you should watch it but i would urge especialy indian audience to watch it because its the best thing happened to indian tv shows in the recent times or one can say forever. A huge credit for such brilliance goes to the directors Anurag Kashyap and Vikramditya Motwane for their excellent direction. I am going to give it 4.5 out of 5.
