As a huge fan of the original trilogy, unfortunately I have to say that this game is not very good if you play games for their stories. The childishness of the game's story is in direct opposition to the original trilogy's more serious tone. Sure, the graphics are great and the soundtrack is fine, but for me this is not enough. The story being a focal point of the game, I'd say it is important to judge the game based on the elements that are focused on the most. And the story is one of them for this particular game. The game seems to have taken the characters and regressed them to their most basic personality traits. The ancestors, which were the biggest addition to the game and had the most potential of all of the additions, were nothing but disappointing clichés with no depth to their characters whatsoever. The big twist of the game that happens towards the middle made no sense. And the sequel-bait cliffhanger ending left me just feeling numb, since everything else was just as disappointing as it could have possibly been.
