I would say this is a decent sequel, not brilliant. Since the characterisation has been established in the first installment, the chemistry is extremely solid, but the antagonist was constructed somewhat sloppily. I was hoping for some connection given the aftermath of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Nevertheless, the relationship subplots and the humour were quite well balanced. The biggest problem though is that there wasn’t a freakin good reason for them to go back into the game other than some psychological desire. Yikes!
