This book was stunningly well-done. The characters are super realistic in terms of their age. On top of that, it was a really long read, so it could've easily lost quality as it went on, but they managed to keep both quality and quantity. I also love the system that they used to incorporate the LitRPG elements into the story. The system wasn't overly complex nor did it use the wuxia-esque mumbo-jumbo used to explain away completely over-powered skills.
That said, the only real problem I had with the story was that a couple points got a little cliché. I don't mind reading remixes of a common theme, but at one point, the main antagonistic force against Reidon kind of lost the justification for their opposition, yet they still kept doing what they had been. But thats my only main complaint.
Finally, I'm really excited to see how they take this series into the future, because their ending was simultaneously very satisfying and leaves you wondering what comes next. Most stories either go one way or the other, often falling short. But this novel's ending was AMAZING.
