The entire movie and then the ending is silly. Octavia Spencer's character was not needed honestly because she didn't provide a real impact to the overall story. It sarted off as an alien conspiracy. Then went into a psychotic thriller and ended up as a criminal kidnap stand off? Honestly, what was the actual point and ultimate outcome? Did the Dad just go back to prison? Very disappointing.
