In Italy there was a tv show for kids called 'Il Principe Piccolo' and I used to watch it every night when it was on. After it finished I always used to feel weird because the story seemed so sad. Now that I'm older I realize the themes of the show and book, and I truly love and appreciate it. It hit home for some reason, and comforted me as well. Overall, it's amazing and I highly suggest reading the book! I don't know if the show still shows episodes but I wish I could see them again...
