I'm a dialect coach. The dialects of the British actors, playing German accented Americans in Los Angeles are not good. It's unfortunate because it takes you out of the story, in my opinion. Producers should have hired actors who could maintain German mouth placement, vowel/diphthong changes and the differences between British (in this case) and German consonants. I bet they had a dialect coach on set, but the coach was either too starstruck to critique the industry name actors, time didn't allow for re-takes or the stars pretended to understand and the director didn't know or care that their dialects needed help. It shows.
