was good. problem is that carols essay and research into linda and budd has me feeling like it was all a hoax after all. would rather see a documentary about something thats more credible and not full of holes. its good carol did what she did. and it could also be true that budd and linda were onto something but then btwn the two of them they started to lie. i wish the story were true haha

this show is great but i honestly think they need to tone down some of the sentimentality and sappy emotions. of course once in a while it’s appropriate and lovely to see someone in tears about their dead mothers repaired teddy bear. i love that actually. but the show is super sappy like every twelve seconds. everyone is crying throughout the whole show, and sometimes the camera lingers on a persons crying or sad face for twenty seconds. in like jesus alright thats enough now lets see more of the genius repair jobs!

i love gangster films, i love young deniro. but i kinda hate this film. its just so unpleasant and leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. its too long its boring and its full of way too much creepy material. so many minutes of brutal rapings and teen nudity and women acting like man-worshipping prostitutes. its just too glorified for me. aside from this it moves too slowy. kissing scenes are unpleasant and drawn out with sappy music. everything is just too sentimental and slow and mediocre. i was really disappointed with this film as i expected to love it.

pretentious nonsensical film, pretending to be mysterious and meaningful. its garbage. i love slow and meaningful and arty films but this is a waste of time.

another offensive aspect of this show is how the hosts are keen to get a discount from the artists. so that at the end of the show they can hand more money to the originak owners of the furniture. what i find offensive about this is they are taking money from artists and giving it to random people at the skip. these artists work very hard and they are highly skilled yet theyre being asked to work as cheaply as possible so that the host has a successful episode of this show. the people who carry the show are the artists. not the original owners of the bits of broken furniture.

maybe the greatest film of all time in my opinion. even one of the most wonderful pieces of fine art of all time. the moment dorothy enters munchkinland in color and they sing to her in a thousand voices with flowers growing out of their shoes and babies hatching from eggs in their pyjamas… so imaginative, wildly beautiful, unique and entertaining. when the tin man is found rusted in the forest and they oil him and he dances really whacky, and sings his sweet song😍… also when they encounter the apple trees which have angry faces. they slap dorothy’s hand as she tries to pull an apple. these scenes are all so iconic and magical. also when they melt the wicked witch with water and she dies sizzling and steaming and crying. all along the soundtrack is in the moment, pulls us into dorothy’s experience with such suspense and sense of wonder. i love this film so much.

i freakin hate this movie. catherine zeta jones’s singing voice for over an hour is actually unpleasant and aggressive on my ears. renee zelwegger i find cringey and creepy. queen latifa is super unnecessary. if these three were three maybe lesser-known, super talented actresses, this movie could be so much better. but its awkward and has a lot of problems and annoying issues. also i must say the music is only ok, it never goes deep, never inspiring, just surface music to reference the time period. never really unique or risqué or genius. its a shame this film won so many academy awards. its very mediocre and the only people who act like this is so great must have the heads up celebrity arses and are delusional while watching this junk

great show. the stars of the show are all super knowledgeable. the best parts of the show are in the antique shops where they talk about the history of each object and the materials and styles. i love how knowledgeable they are. charles, raj and natasha are some of my favourites. the host narrator is good but his awkward squeaky laugh at his own jokes is a little too dorky. also i wish the show didnt waste time on the little educational segments oitside of antique shops, for example learning to weave a basket. those parts are fine but the best moments of the show are in the shops and at the auction. more of that stuff and less educational segments

this is a lost and dull film. im an open minded person. i can enjoy any sort of artsy or mainstream film but this had no real charm, no heart, nothing creative or beautiful or mysterious. the film goes into all kinds of uncomfortable and awkward art-sex scenes which are quite bad. embarrassing. acting and scenery is all mediocre. i cannot find a redeeming quality that this film has.
