You know how Tarintino in a pre-internet world watched a lot of little known movies and then "used" scenes from said movies to create his own, but because the movies were obscure he was able to get away with? Well this is the horror movie version of this, except the movies aren't obscure, you've seen them and you'll spend some time going "Ohhh, that's from Friday 13th - The New Blood" or recognising other familiar, overused beats and tropes.
It's not a bad film, 20 mins longer than it needs to be. Dialogue is awful, though this could be down to the dubbing and it very well shot, so credit to the DoP. As usual for this type of film the actions of the characters make little sense and everyone is underdeveloped bar some "This is my personality" dialogue that never goes anywhere before they're offed.
Most surprisingly this already has a sequel out and on Netflix which I may attempt if there is sufficient alcohol in the house.
