This is not a sci-fi series. It's people and their life problems with the alien invasion merely serving as a backdrop. Extremely slow-paced, wasting run-time on moody flashbacks, bringing in every movie/series trope possible. Surprised it's renewed for a second season when it shouldn't exist in the first place. Had to use the fast-forward button to watch this predictable series that promises an invasion but leaves you with more of human problems. There are a few series out there trying to capitulate on the pandemic and the aliens depicted here suspiciously resemble a virus. This in my mind was an insensitive move on the creator's part. In a nutshell, the first season promises aliens, depicts very little of them or their motives, and ends without the aliens being defeated when humans thought they had conquered the invaders. Don't recommend this series.

It fails on every front - raising social awareness, horror, comedy. Disaster of a movie that likely got green lit because someone wanted to burn their money. A guy falls in love with with a vicious ghost?? Girls are getting kidnapped by the main leads and somehow we are supposed to like those characters? The protagonist marries a ghost in what could be termed a spiritual marriage? Throw in a guy marrying a female dog !! What were the writers high on when they came up with this horror story? The horror is that such a movie was put together by someone. The comedy is that we suckers watched it.

How can a movie with such talented actors be so wrong at so many places? This is sheer garbage & perpetuates so many misconceptions and prejudices that it claims to fight.

Derivative, predictable, lacking in any message - looks like the creators had to deliver something on a tight deadline & created something that resembles a low budget horror TV production. I was hoping this would be on par with Tumbbad, also set in British India and exploring greed, the subjugation of women & male entitlement. It's not even close to Rangi Taranga which was likely created on a low budget & scares you 5 min into the movie while still employing known theatrics. This movie puts you off to sleep in just the first 15 min. You can't empathize with any character and the pace is boring - it doesn't even offend you or shock you into noticing the movie. It's plain boring.
