I felt the movie had great potential...which is why I chose to watch it despite reviews. At the end I feel that it lacks more transition. Explanation. And though making a horror movie with a child technically having Superman's powers and a realization that humans are inferior...similar to an artificial intelligence....seemed enticing, the execution was lacking for me. I felt showing a change in thought process from innocent perfect child that loved mom and dad... to immediate psychopath was necessary. At least before killing on a whim....family members nonetheless, when anger was the driving force besides an alien spaceship telling him to take the world. So it was hard to go with the storyline even though the acting was decent.
