Repetitive, dark and preposterous.
Repetitive: villains caught, villains escape. Ditto. Dit………
Dark: many scenes too dark to tell who the characters were, especially in the pub.
Preposterous: Harp a large man was constantly missed by the Redcoats fire. Harp and his handful of cronies attack a castle in the night (a castle they have little knowledge of) loads of Redcoats leave the castle to attack, why? when they are in a strong position, ridiculous.
Elizabeth Carruthers a very interesting and developing character Is bumped off prematurely.
Malcolm Browne a ludicrous character is allowed a major part.
