I am in a long-distance relationship. This movie has truly moved me and very deeply. My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year and we have been together fully only two months and 8 days at three different times. I live in South Africa, he lives in the US. I've been there twice and he is been here once, but sharing 24/7 during those opportunities. We will hopefully meet again in November, after Covid lockdown delays. We are super in love and we are also very scared. The ending of this movie I guess is pretty much our biggest fear, or maybe mine. And even our story is at a very different age, us with a more committed approach from the very beginning, this movie reflects perfectly what a young couple would struggle in this so difficult scenario. The feelings are very well portrayed, the intensity of love and connection between two people no matter the absence is just perfect, and even the questioning at some point of the other one's life is also accurate. No need to develop the last one, which I must say in reality is a real rollercoaster, but in the movie was portrayed in a well-balanced amount which made the story flow beautifully and artistically on its real essence and purpose. I applaud the makers and actors of 'Like Crazy'. It was a very touching film, and obviously, as my personal story clicks with it, I had to write this long review. Long-distance love and distant relationships are definitely just like crazy. Five thumbs up. Thanks.
