Muyang Ren

The worst drama I’ve seen on Netflix so far. The dialogue is wonderful, the film is beautifully shot and it gives you the impression at the beginning that the story and its beats will follow through. That’s not the case, it’s so frustrating watching this story develop, the characters just ignore certain plot points and move on to something else. Maybe the film is just playing to the protagonist’s/antagonist’s personality of being completely selfish. So the film does not really care about the viewer and connecting the emotion of the film to its story telling. I watched the whole thing because I watch good and bad films, but the way the storytelling handles these characters is rather disappointing.
