Although I am a huge MCU fan, and still found Wandavision an enjoyable show, I had some problems with it that frustrated me. First of all, the fact that Agatha doesn’t really do anything as a villain frustrated me, since she had so much potential to be a good villain. Her “motives” are that she was a witch in 1693 who absorbed power and wants to absorb Wanda’s power, and she has nothing about her that makes her a stand out villain. My second major problem is how the show portrays Wanda as the victim. The show acts like Wanda made a huge sacrifice by letting fake vision and fake sons “die”, when they were not even real. She held an entire town of hundreds if not thousands of people hostage without their free will and then acted like she was the victim. Wanda was one of my favorite characters before the show but honestly it just made her unlikeable more than anything. And don’t get me started on the plot holes. However, I still enjoyed the show and some characters they brought back or developed more, like Monica Rambo, Jimmy Woo, and Darcy Lewis.
