The essence of the Fast and Furious franchise was about the real life stunts. This movie was 2 hours of action that lacked the grunt of engines and stunts and cars. It was more of of an action movie full of banter and cgi. I didn't feel it was a Fast and Furious movie. If it had a different title, it would have been better. The Vin Diesel FAST & FURIOUS franchise is very much the true form of this franchise. I should add I really like The Rock, however this is not his brand. I refer to the latest movie.
