One of the more disappointing in the series to be honest. The story is mediocre at best and, while there are more pokémon available to catch, you have to pay for the dlc (which isnt bad but $30 per dlc...) to get all of them. The game also doesn't give as much exploration possible as older titles, and overall holds your hand way too much. I wouldn't mind this too much if there was any other difficulties available, which there isn't, and Dynamax makes the game way too easy, to the point where you can beat level 50 pokemon with level 35s if you try to make your teams balanced. The antagonistic teams are also not very memorable (like Pokémon X/Y), and I didn't even remember their names until writing this review. The entire game was a bit of a let-down, but I hope the next games will be much better, with less hand-holding, more exploration available and more of a challenge in general.
