Unpopular opinion: For me, Netflix’s *IC 814: The Kandahar Story* is a textbook example of mismanaged talent. Great actors, but most are sleepwalking through their lines - actually not given enough room to showcase their talent. The show also lacks the intensity you’d expect from such a harrowing real-life event.

Can't understand the hype. It may not be a cheap rip-off but it surely has all the derivative elements of The Walking Dead which, btw, was a much better show.

A top-notch movie and a much-required shot to the debilitating franchise. There is not a single dull moment in this visual spectacle.

Could have been a much better movie, it just runs out of gas in the final third. The climax is a major disappointment.

Superb visuals and watertight editing are the hallmarks of this show. Totally surpassed my expectations, can't wait for Season 2.

Starts with a bang, ends with a whimper. Betaal's storyline is heavily inspired by 2008's low-budget, Nazi-zombie horror flick "Outpost". Romero's "Night of the living dead" elements are also thrown in with abandon. The house seige scene and all that. After the first episode, the pace slows and by the time you reach the 4th episode, the show is dragging. The show also lacks twists, the one that does come in the finale fails to set things ablaze. The British zombies lack good make-up, they don't look scary. Don't expect "The Walking Dead" types. All in all, an average affair.

Normally South Korean horror movies set a high standard but this one sets a standard in stupidity. I don't want to leave any spoilers, but director could have redeemed it in the climax, sadly he wastes it there, too.
