I loved the first two movies. I haven't read the comics/graphic novels so my review is from an average pleb view. It felt old, like a shock horror film from the 1980's. It may be that there is a lot in it for the comic aficionado that is lost on the great unwashed like myself. The interaction between characters felt a bit like an afterthought, the lack of one liners that were in the first two disappointed me somewhat, maybe because I expected it. The whole character interaction kinda felt like it was and afterthought to the gore. Maybe that is the style of the comics but I don't know if that translates to the movie that well, it didn't hit the mark for me.
