This movie is just too real, it shows gang life, poverty, broken homes, life on the streets and racism, how students feel like they're destined to be in the loophole of poverty and these stereotypes and how a teacher can help change all this, it was truly heartwarming seeing them realise and be more confident in studying especially Raul, he was soo cute, I love his character, everybody had reasons for their actions and it was so nice to see them gain hope, the end scenes made me bawl my eyes out, it was also realistic some people are disregarded these options to escape and its either be killed or to kill on the streets, I was soo mad at the principle, I expected more of him, it was a let down that he was so rude and ignorant especially as a black man himself (not to involve race or anything but in those times and still today its a struggle) he should know the struggles and the effects of stereotyping and even despite these he should've at least listen to the student and give them a chance instead of rudely ignoring him as his overall duty as a principal in he first place, but again these sort of people exist in real life too and there are many cases like this, it really opens your eyes to why these unfortunate events happen, when students are not being given the basic respect as a human being, no teacher or person can expect the same level of respect back towards them. Overall I highly recommend this movie its really good, soo many eye opening and heartwarming moments.

I binged 6 seasons in 5 days and this just lets u know everything there is to it, it's amazing!

most aesthetically pleasing simple melodrama I've seen, the poems the vibes, scenery, plot they are all amazing, beautifully captured village life in the mountains.

it's still ongoing so I haven't finished it yet but it's such a good drama one of my faves for sure, its soo refreshing to see a drama that's soo uncomplicated and easy-going yet has the power to make you be eager to watch the next episodes, I really love the main leads and the quirkiness of this drama it's cute yet powerful, highly recommend <3

FAVOURITE DRAMA EVER, cue, deep, funny, whole kdrama package, not a single moment of boredom I watched this drama 5 x already because it's such a classic, I can never get bored of it

This amazing piece of art is a historical piece and the fact this happened at a time of oppression makes it even more heartbreaking. I wish we could all live in peace, but guess we won't be able to live like that ever. This drama is so beautiful and the OST's make it even more heartbreaking, i really recommend and shin hye sun and lee jong suk did an excellent job in portraying these emotions, the cast has been chosen very well as the acting compliments each other. RECOMMEND 5****** :)

I LOVED THIS KDRAMA to the point I remember my reactions when watching it a year ago, I keep rewatching it because it's really cute and funny yet meaningful and sad sometimes. LOVE LOVE LOVE

ITS PERFECT THE BEST MOVIE IVE SEEN SOOO FAR I CANT HELP TO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH DILAN HE'S QUOTES AND MANNERS ARE BEAUTIFUL I ESPECIALLY LIKED THE ONE WERE MILEA ASKS HIM WHAT IF HER DAD DIDNT LET THEM DATE AND HE REPLIED "IM FINE WITH NOT DATING YOU AS LONG AS YOU'RE ON THIS EARTH IM HAPPY" I LOVE HIS CHARACTER SOOO MUCH HE IS CARING BUT ALSO FUNNY AND CUTE BUT AT THE SAME TIME HE IS IN A MOTORBIKE GANG SO HE DEFENDS MILEA WHEN NEEDED (since like every male is attracted to her, yet he is not jealous he even told her to do what she wants he will never tell her what to do he's character is admirable to any male I honestly would love a boyfriend with his character) OH MY I JUST LOVE HIS CHARACTER THE POEMS HE WRITES HER, THE THINGS HE SAYS TO HER IM HONESTLY IN LOVE WITH HIS CHARACTER. THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING while focusing on teen love of Milea and Dilan it subtly also conveys social issues happening in Indonesia at the time it is set in.

this drama is full package PERFECT; beautiful ost's, great comedy, heartwarming scenes that will make u cryyyyy and appreciate ur life. It may be fiction on the time-travelling theme but pretty much everything else is pretty realistic.
