I love it! I don't know why, but I've never seen this animated film before. So it was especially pleasant to enjoy a new "old" film. The animation reminded me of the beautiful style in Sleeping Beauty, which I had really loved. I really enjoyed the adventures of funny old Merlin, Archimedes, and young Arthur as they transformed into squirrels and fishes. They were an interesting POV of how it feels like to turn into an animal, which I think I would love imagining if I watched it as a kid. I also appreciated the bits when Merlin mentioned the 20th century, especially how education/using the brain helps to overcome life's challenges/obstacles, and to never give up. Pretty good lessons for kids I think! Merlin's awe with knowledge and flight kinda made me wonder if Merlin was Leonardo Da Vinci in some sense too. In fact, maybe a spinoff of Merlin training young Leonardo Da Vinci would be cool too! Sincerely love this, feels good to feel like a kid and imagine again :)
