This book has many prayers from the Byzantine Catholic Rite. Common prayers, devotional prayers, evening and morning prayers, the Office of Hours, the Menaion....I wish it was a hardcover edition, however. This paperback edition has tiny print and is printed on cheap paper which is thick. It is ok for reference but difficult to use as a prayerbook...due to the print size and format. The past editions of hardcover publications of these prayers has readable print in both red and black. It also had beautiful thin (but tough)paper and ribbons for marking areas. This edition has 279 pages and after 3 years of use it already has dogearring pages and it now looks ugly. Prayer books should be easy to read and beautiful. FYI these prayers are available free in PDF form.
