Another interesting show destroyed by a political agenda. Why did they stop making shows to entertain us and start making shows to lecture at us. Usually with agendas that are far left and usually disgusting and perverted. The first couple of episode were watchable and held my interest but after that, not so much. They were more about the lefts agenda than entertainment. I quit watching after episode 5. If your not black or queer you are going to be bored or offended watching this show. A real shame, it could have been great!

I really like this show but I'm concerned. The population of the village is maybe a couple hundred people, Every episode they kill one off. 10 episodes a series, 11 series, that's 110 people or more as there were a few doubles or triples and a couple long series. That's worse die off than the black Death. I think if I lived there I'd move. An awful lot of maniacs running around. Other than that its an absolutely great english mystery show. The padre is a dear you cant help but love and his supporting crew are also iconic english classics. The only one I really don't like is Mrs. McCarthy. She is such an unlikable person . A 2 faced witch. She gossips and picks out other peoples faults and broadcasts them to the whole village. She bad mouths people who think they are her friend then tells everybody she didn't do it. I don't see how even with the patience of Job the Father can stand her. The other thing that bothers me is the cops. How many times does the Padre save them from convicting the wrong person and they still jump on him for helping. Are they just evil like Mrs. McCarthy or are they just stupid and egotistical? Either way Kembleford is not a good place to live!

Even in Canada you have the right to remain silent. Even in Canada the police have to have a warrant to take your property..Even in Canada the police have to have a warrant to search your car. Even in Canada you have the right to an attorney before any questioning. Even in Canada you can sue the police for false arrest. Either all the people on this show are morons or they don't know their own legal protections. This is a perfect example of Canadian TV. I would rather eat toothpaste! If you are a friend you can commit felonies and walk away, just make a pass at the cop. I used to really like this show during the first couple seasons but it has gotten really bad. A dog with super powers, who knew!

Its always a shame when you are really enjoying a movie or tv series and one of the main characters decides to become a political pundit and starts spouting absoutely atrocious views on subjects totaly unrelated to the show. Like their popularity in the fiction makes them qualified to spout nonesense and have it taken as gospel. I really admire Pedro Pascals acting in any of the movies or shows I have seen him in. But now I cant watch him without having the taste of vomit in the back of my throat. Absoutely ruined this series for me. Sorry, I wont watch it again.

If only Manhattan was really like this show.If only Tom Selleck was police comissioner. If only crime wasn't completely out of control. If only the police weren't paralyzed by a leftsist woke political machine. I watch the family having dinner and remember my mom doing that. Making sure the family had dinner together ever Friday. Talking, listening and being a family. I love this show and really regret Tom Sellecks decision to retire from the part. It will kill the show, I think. Some of the best television being made.
