Am at season 2 epi 5. Had to stop watching to preserve my sanity due to the stupidity of the decisions made by the characters. Too many stupid decisions were made so the writers can spin more stories out of it. While I can accept writers use this technique in writing stories sometimes, but this show has just too much of it, especially at critical moments.
Spoiler:
1) Gabe had visited Chamberlain more often than other Locke's family? If you can communicate with one of your elders, wouldn't you want to talk to them to share their stories and experiences? Locke's family will then know Gabe is Dodge.
2) Why the hell would Erin catch Gabe herself? An extra pair of hands would be helpful. See how Eden helped save Gabe instead?
3) Duncan, knowing what Gabe wanted from the new key, made the exact key that suits Gabe's purpose. Anyone would know that new key spells game over. But Duncan did exactly that, because he wants to save Bode, but didn't think that would mean the end for everyone. Couldn't Duncan secretly made a key that turns the person to someone who can only fight Gabe and only Gabe if used on?
4) Nina is not a good mother. Period.
5) Ellie brought the crown key home to the enemy while searching for the crown. Why..?? Can we have some risks management mind set here? Leave the key with the Locke's!
6) Many irresponsible handling of powerful keys.
These are just a few of the frustrating ones.
