This is the worst Madden ever created! They don't seem to care about knowledge of the game and experienced skilled players. You can legitimately play someone who had never played any Madden and play an experienced career Madden player and be competitive or even win. That doesn't seem fair at all. I played a friend who by no means a great Madden player. I've played Madden from the beginning. Even knowing his plays, I could not stop him. On defense I could not get comfortable controlling a player at any position. I'm not an expert Madden player but I consider myself easily above average but this year's Madden does not care what your experience level is! It seems as if EA wanted a fun experience for everyone instead of competitive gameplay. Why put time on effort to master a skill/game that a newbie with no experience can come in and be competitive? It doesn't seem fair to me. If you want to win then put the time in. There is allot of bugs and issues with this game! I'm not getting into all the modes of the game. You can judge that for yourselves. The essence of the game which is actual gameplay is horrible! Absolutely horrible! QB misses wide open passes too often. RBs will not gain a yard with open holes but all of a sudden with a potential 5 yard loss about to happen he will rip off a 5 broken tackle, 2 Jukes and a spin move and be gone 80 yards! I thought I witnessed the resurrection of Christ. You can literally know every play call coming at you and NOT BE ABLE TO STOP IT. As a lifelong fan of Madden I am finally putting an end to it this year. I'm considering selling the game and my PS4. That's how angry this game has made me. I feel like EA should refund me in full and compensate me for my wasted time. EA is emphasizing way too much in MUT and other aspects of the game which is great but if actual game play is atrocious, why play at all. Maybe EA will fix issues with updates but as a consumer I don't want to pay $64.95 and then have to wait months for updates to be able to play a somewhat worthy game maybe! I'm giving this game a rating of 2 of 10. I have never given a rating this low on anything but this game deserves to be low.
