For all the education and experience of reviewers with big name publishers, THEY COULD NOT TELL THE TRUTH FOR ONCE? If any small theaters were left, they just went out of business with demands for refunds. This movie wasn't made for this decades movie viewer. Sure the movie was full of nostalgia of the 80s, but what a poorly written modern B movie it has become. The special effects were equally advanced in looking cheesy, the story drawn out, and inconsistent with the previous produced story models. This wreaks of an attempt at a Captain Marvel comparison. If it was meant to be this cheesy, it's insulting cheese and the 30 and younger audience. This movie belongs on a Blockbusters shelf. Good thing the 3 main stars have had successful careers prior to and during this release.
