I related to the characters marrying without knowing each other properly. Following the story without even knowing the outline kept me engrossed the entire film. You want to escape reality at the movies? Well this probably hits home as a little too real. Gosling is convincing; my only negative constructive criticism is that his character appears to age too fast? A classic who-dunnit that keeps you guessing...also stars Kirsten Wiig.

Everything you could possibly want in a movie. It hasn't any flaws at all. Very inspirational. Starring Emma Stone and #RyanGosling. I love the soundtrack.

Literally just finished this with goosebumps on my arms reading the last few pages. Couldn't put the book down, it's like a horror movie - where you feel compelled to watch - yet are mortified by it at the same time. Gripping is another way to put it. Definitely not for the faint hearted. M + rating. Must read Girt beforehand. Kudos to David Hunt for bringing history to life, in addition to his research, time and humour.

From "Keep Your Eyes Peeled" to the end track "...Like Clockwork"; this album is an absolute winner, the only negative being the associated artwork on Instagram music and other social media platforms (my relatives are ultra religious). Kicking myself that I missed the tour for this and "Villians"... QOTSA can do no wrong, is my humble opinion.

It's been on repeat for the last six weeks. "Villians of Circumstance" chorus is brilliantly executed by Joshua Homme. Currently shouting copies for mates, as it's such an underrated gem.

Snapped me out of a reverie; the teaser for this album did, waking me to realise I
have missed years(!) / several releases, due to parenting in an ultra religious way. Well, after hearing "In Times New Roman"; I purchased eight QOTSA albums, some from the back catalogue that I have yet to devour, as previous copies of Lullabies and Rated R were lost due to missing rental payments of a shipping container in BCN.
How to express gratitude for the enormous impact QOTSA have had upon my life pre-parenting challenges me at present. If I wasn't a single mum, without passport, bankrupt, I would seriously be purchasing a ticket to attend as many gigs as possible this tour. Something really reached inside of me; from the track Carnavoyeur, it's life-changing. I love it.

♥️Nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars; "After The Wedding" certainly wasn't what I was expecting it to be. Directed by Susanne Bier, who co-wrote the script with Anders Thomas Jensen, the characters that were most memorable at the end were, dare I say it, not Mads nor leading lady Sidse Babett Knudsen, but Stine Fischer Christensen (who received a Robert award for Best Supporting Actor) and Rolf Lassgard. A very evocative film, I cannot imagine why anyone could possibly think they could remake this and improve upon it in anyway! Great performances all round. 4.5/5 stars (I cried so much, it gave me a headache).
