I was hooked on watching this series until it dawned on me that God doesn’t make mistakes. He revealed himself through his written word for a reason. And calls us to SEEK him. “That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬ I READ a review that said this series bought the person of Christ to life to them. And I prayed for her, myself, and all who would be tempted rely on anyone except the Holy Spirit to reveal the living savior to them. Jesus is WAS DEAD. The power of the most high, creator of earth, sky, and sea bought Him back to LIFE. From a cold, lifeless, broken CORPSE. Have you ever seen a DEAD BODY, that’s how DEAD HE WAS. Lifeless, cold, not breathing for 3 days!! And now his GRAVE Is EMPTY. Family, we are not normal, and I know I sound crazy. But we believe a man GOD rose from the dead. That itself is not normal. We have been called to something out of this world. Read Ephesians. And again I pray our eyes would be opened to recognize and experience the true risen savior who makes this series look something on nick jr. And that’s not to undermined the cast/crew and their talent God bless them. But when you realize a “was dead but now alive God man” is with you alllll day long. Theres no amount of cool Netflix and chill kind of series that can come compare. FAMILY Let’s fast, and pray! And I challenge you and myself to use the hour we’d spend watching Johnathan Roumie play Jesus, instead actually seeking Jesus. Because he is ALIVE, and waiting to reveal himself to you.
