Ok 3 episodes in and I want to blind myself like the queen. Plot contrivance, poorly written character development, elves acting like humans. Orcs turning against the second most evil power the universe ever knew and treating him like ceaser. I'm only hate watching this abomination now as it's not tolkein it's a parallel universe fan fiction. If you like it great but I can't think many LOTR fans watch this and think hey it brings to life what I've wanted when thinking about the second age. I will update my review after I've seen it all but currently just as bad as the first season

A pretty bang average show with a good cast. It's let down by a writer on crack who can't develop characters or link story arcs. Stuff just happens immediately with no build up. People are just what they need to be for the plot. Lots of sex and murder to satisfy the mob. Acting from most was acting school level but this felt more down to the script as there was no eloquence to the words used. I kept watching it becuase I was sick and had nothing better to do.

Where do you start? I went in with low expectations to this movie becuase the original trilogy set the bar for the type of fight correography and gun play we see in todays great action films. This film repeats the same storyline of the first few films while using clips from the original films to link in and drive the narrative.you really feel the runtime on this film and i found myself wishing it was over about half way through. Bullet time was the iconic matrix gimic and they turned it into a parody with there being maybe 2 moments of it with none of the flare or cinematography of the originals. The fights themselves usually an iconic wide shot brilliantly choreographed scene was just worse quality than some youtubers i have seen, half the fights were just groups of people all to close together slapping each other. The gunfire sounded like wet farts and had that cheap cap gun feel where they would spray bullets at each other and hit nothing. There was no threat to any character and nobody dies or gets hurt??? What? The original films were great because lifecwas expendable and the stakes were high so it built tension. Agent smiths delivery was flat and confusing of his purpose. The return of the exiles was laughably cringy and i couldnt understand what half the people were saying as the sound quality was poor or the delivery of lines was mumbled. None of the supporting characters had any depth to them and i can only remember one of their names becuase of a cringecjoke ablut bugs bunny Why was this movie made? Who is responsible for taking a dump on all the matrix best qualities. In my opinion if you are a true fan of the original matrix films for all the flaws of 2 and 3 this is not something worth seeing. Please dont waste your money.
