I like the series. It has depth and a very good story line. I think it was too dark for most fans and it didn't offer much hope or uplifting moments. And understanding the human psyche a little, I think the ship, literally, was too dark and depressing. The constant darkness and depressing decor really does affect people. They should have brightened the lighting for the working parts of the ship and used some color in those parts and still could have made it look old and run down.
