I was intrigued to watch this because I'm pretty fond of fantasy. This show is NOT meant for lovers of fantasy. I'm not real sure who this show is for but if you enjoy fantasy settings I'm willing to bet you will not enjoy this show. Lots of subtle (subtle in the way a brick to the face is subtle) agenda pushing messages in the show. The "gore" in this show is kind of laughable and honestly doesn't warrant an MA rating. In hindsight this show reminds me more of "Once Upon a Time," not GoT or The Witcher. Overall bad experience, barely made it through 3 episodes before deciding I just couldn't take it anymore. Life is to short for this...

I'll be honest, the series conclusion wasn't my favorite. Years later it makes sense, but it just felt really... underwhelming? You make your own conclusion. Definitely not a bad show for sure.

This show was really a great show. But it's a lot like Dexter. Watch it all the way to the end and then never watch the final episode. You'll love the series. I know you won't listen and I know you'll watch that hogwash of a conclusion and you will probably be just as shocked as most were. You were warned...
