Compared to games like Grand Theft Auto and Call Of Duty, Animal Crossing was refreshing peaceful, friendly, and charming. All of the anthropomorphic villagers you encounter have distinct personalities, and this brings to life a fully customizable deserted island. One of the most relaxing games I’ve played. I gave it a 10/10 when I stood in line for 20 minutes to pick up my copy when it dropped, and it holds true, and will continue to hold true.
