I really love this movie. When I watched this movie for the first time I was 8 years old and I was surprised with the fact that they decided to get rid of Hicks and Newt at the beginning of the movie. I was surprised but I didn't complain about why they weren't in the movie. I liked the movie and I love it now. The depressing and nihilistic atmosphere is amazing. The acting is outstanding. Ripley is not supposed to be happy. She's a warrior. She's a survivor. I'm not that impressed by machine guns and ammunition. Alien 3 tells a good story and even though there were a lot of flaws in this movie (I know the production was chaotic), it is a very nice movie. Maybe my favorite one from the whole franchise. Enjoy it!
