Very few movies could reach my 'worst movie of the year' point. The Lodge was boring, slow, cheap, has no ending, the acting was saddly childish and weak, and in the end you just feel pissed off. But hey, you be the judge, feel free to watch it yourself.... but i wouldnt pay for it.

There is a lot going for it and they bring in a bunch of peices but the story is boring, confusing and the ending. Oh gods the ending. What ending?! Literally it was like picking up a book with an interesting back page, then you get half way through and have gotten bored but feel there could still be something so you wait to finish. Then you find out someone has torn out the last 5 chapters and roll credits. Its like the writers couldnt stick with anything and were mistaking confusion with mystery. Never in my life have i seen so many confused faces and googling after a movie. Good acting, beautiful scenery, everything else.... please give me my 2 hours of life back. Want to watch something scary or horror like? Watch paint dry, it may be more entertaining.

I knew it would be hoky in the beginning but this take on a meh horror was over-shadowed by the preachy voice of "all boys are pigs" and the police dont listen to girls. The story was boring and absolutly rediculus and sexist. Should have stuck with just a remake. Dont go to this movie. It will leave you p'd off and confused.
